We are fast approaching March – isn’t it funny how January seems to drag on and on, and then February, even with 29 days, just goes by in a flash?
I am beginning a new role at work tomorrow – a promotion. I enter it with mixed feelings, as my previous boss and team are truly the best I’ve ever worked with, and we have all truly become friends. I am not going far away – in fact I will still be supporting my old team in my new position, I’ll just be doing a whole lot more, and have a new boss that I report directly to. I know it will be good!
We are also approaching the time of year when we start to think about getting our cars out of hibernation and start planning for show season! With that said, our A&W Early Bird Show and Shine is tentatively booked for June 9 this year, with a rainout date of June 23. We need door prizes, raffle items and volunteers!
I am hoping that now I have a house and my car lives with me, that I’ll be able to get out to a few more shows this year, but we also have some serious landscaping work we have to get done, and weekends are short! Anybody who wants to help install a new fence, we are happy to accept volunteers for that too Hahahaha.
Don’t forget club memberships are due, if no changes just send in your cheque, if changes, let Bob Benson know, he will email you a new form, bensonra@telsuplanet.net.
